Yes. Sign in, describe the work in plain language, and Randal gets going — no keys to wire up, no models to configure.
What happens if I use more than what's included?+
Nothing is billed after the fact — usage is prepaid, so Randal simply pauses when your available usage runs out. You can move plans, wait for next month's included usage, or turn on auto-recharge: a fixed amount (from $20) of usage credits bought before the work runs, capped by a monthly spend limit you set. Credits you buy stay on your account until you use them — only your monthly included usage resets.
What is Randal Cloud?+
An always-on Randal we host for you — a $19/mo add-on on any paid plan. Set it up from your phone in minutes; the mobile and desktop apps both connect to it, and you can run it alongside the Randal on your Mac and switch between them. It only has the permissions of its own cloud container. One limitation: Teach & Observe watch a Mac's screen, so those still happen on your Mac.
Can I use my own API keys?+
On a managed plan you don't need to — we handle the models for you, so there are no keys to wire up. Running Randal against your own provider keys is supported; the deployment docs cover the setup.
Is my data private?+
Yes. By default Randal runs with zero data retention, so model providers never store your prompts or train on your data — your work stays yours.
